THE CAMEL COAT

One of 2016’s biggest trends in Mens Fashion the Camel Coat is a piece of clothing you simply need to invest in! The obvious strength of the Camel Coat is its dapper appearance. Therefore the tendency is to think of it as a formal option for your wardrobe thus diminishing its appeal. The Camel Coat doesn’t initially scream versatility at you. Or me! However, that is what this piece is. Versatile! In fact it is so versatile I recommend buying one! I have written this blog post to display the versatility of the Camel Coat. Rather than create dapper and formal outfits for you I shall provide you with some funky street style inspiration!

CAMEL COAT WITH A BOWTIE AND WAISTCOAT

Funky Dapper is something Fashionable Frank specialises in! I love to experiment with my style. To present something different! This outfit provides all of those elements. My thoughts on this outfit were how could I highlight my knitted Wool & Water bowtie. To achieve this, we need to consider what colours complement each other. As you know, the neutrals trend is very popular in menswear at the moment. With good reason. They look great together! As we can see here.

CAMEL COAT AND BLACK

Tan/Brown and Black look great together! Its simple to construct a street style outfit from these colours. Just wear the Tan Overcoat with everything else being black. I love a contrast (as you know!) so I decided to go with Stone Coloured Suede Chelsea Boots! I got these for €40 from River Island on sale! Add some accessories in this case a scarf to complete the look!

White Skinny Jeans?! Yep, thats right! White Jeans are not just for Summer! Autumnal inspiration from Fashionable Frank! White and Tan are part of the neutrals colour palette and work well together. The Black provides a much needed contrast. Wear it to the pub. Even when the Tan Overcoat comes off the outfit is still strikingly simple and stylish! Add some accessories so your wrists won’t appear to bear. This is a great street style look!

Yes, you read that correctly! Wear it with a Denim Jacket! Thats how versatile the Camel Coat is. This outfit looks like it belongs on a fashion magazine or website worn by a model who is pristinely groomed….oh wait it is 😛 It is important to take time to experiment with your outfit! Thats how I discovered this outfit. I got the denim jacket on sale too from River Island for only €30! This outfit is perfect for when the weather gets chilly. Layering is incredibly important not only for warmth but also because we want to look good while battle the cold weather!

CAMEL COAT WITH A BOMBER JACKET

Yep, the Tan Overcoat is so versatile you can pair it with the most have piece of the season, the Bomber Jacket! Tailoring and Sportswear is a look that is hard to get right. In this case, the Black Ripped Skinny Jeans allows the outfit to look great. It provides the contrast required for it to look good. Again, this outfit is for beating the chill in a stylish manner! Just because its cold doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look good! Adding some Adidas Superstars completes the sporty look! Sports Luxe can look great when executed correctly. My advice is to keep it simple.

I shall finish up with something more conservative. Simply wear the Tan Overcoat with the Neutrals colour palette! Less is more sometimes and that is most certainly the case here.
